Spiegare, informare, capire quali moti accompagnano le mie mani, il mio sguardo, la mia attenzione verso questi argomenti, che riguardano soprattutto l'immaginazione e la sua visione, è praticamente inutile. Come è inutile, per il fare consueto, cercare di spiegare.
Posso, certamente, raccontare. In questo modo, ovvero utilizzando la retorica narrata, magari potete avvicinarvi al presunto significato delle cose vedute qui. Forse.
Ma non chiedetemi di aiutarvi a capire.
Non c'è nulla da capire, non c'è nulla da comprendere.
Quello che offro al vostro giudizio sono soltanto disegni, immagini strane, fiori, macchie, segni nervosi o sinuosi, parole, colori, grafie, percorsi.
Casomai chiedetevi se avete la possibilità congenita di poter sentire quello che state vedendo, se avete quella percezione per le cose sensibili, quella affezione intima e silenziosa verso il curioso mistero che accompagna la malinconia, la bellezza, la visione incontrollata, rendendoci esseri creativi.
Chiedetevi se la vostra percezione è così acuta e profonda da permettervi di capire quello che state vedendo. Chiedetevi se siete pronti per arrivare fino a quel limite che l'immagine, l'arte ci impone di superare. Senza la dovuta e obbligatoria immaginazione, senza quella capacità misterica e magica di arrivare dove nessuno osa, di scendere verso il buio più nero o di ascendere verso la luce più pura, ogni spiegazione si trasforma in aria, vento, nulla.
Allora soltanto dopo questa verifica, dopo questa dovuta consapevolezza potrei, eventualmente, raccontarvi la mia storia.
Explaining, informing, understanding which movements accompany my hands, my gaze, my attention towards these topics, which above all concern the imagination and its vision, is practically useless. As it is useless, as usual, to try to explain.
I can, certainly, tell. In this way, or by using narrated rhetoric, perhaps you can get closer to the presumed meaning of the things seen here. Perhaps.
But don't ask me to help you understand.
There is nothing to understand, there is nothing to understand. What I offer for your judgment are only drawings, strange images, flowers, stains, nervous or sinuous signs, words, colours, handwriting, paths.If anything, ask yourself if you have the congenital possibility of being able to feel what you are seeing, if you have that perception for sensitive things, that intimate and silent affection towards the curious mystery that accompanies melancholy, beauty, uncontrolled vision, making us creative beings.
Ask yourself if your perception is so acute and deep that you can understand what you are seeing. Ask yourself if you are ready to reach that limit that the image, the art, requires us to overcome. Without the due and obligatory imagination, without that mysterious and magical ability to arrive where no one dares, to descend towards the blackest darkness or ascend towards the purest light, every explanation turns into air, wind, nothing.
Then only after this verification, after this due awareness, could I possibly tell you my story.

Sono stato docente di Grafica Pubblicitaria e Progettazione Multimediale presso la scuola superiore di secondo grado (dal 1990 al 2020), presso l'Accademia di Belle Arti di Urbino per Design per l'editoria e Web design (dal 2001 al 2020) e presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma per Applicazioni digitali per l’arte (2019-2022). Attualmente sono docente di Applicazioni digitali per l'arte presso l'Accademia di Belle Arti di Urbino.

These are two things that may have common points or be divergent, but we manage to find them within the profession of art worker. Here you will find projects, works, images, photographs, installations, editorial prints, sketchbooks, videos, posters, drawings, etc. which do not follow any chronological, gender or technical order: they emerge from my memory and show themselves without considering Time, Before or After.
I was a teacher of Advertising Graphics and Multimedia Design at the secondary school (from 1990 to 2020), at the Academy of Fine Arts of Urbino for Design for publishing and Web design (from 2001 to 2020) and at the 'Academy of Fine Arts of Rome for Digital Applications for Art (2019-2022). I am currently a teacher of digital applications for art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino.
I've always been drawing.
The materials and supports I use for my drawings and installations are: paper, offset plates, walls, site specific, posters, Moleskine, notebooks, photography, painting, video, interaction, books, printing, photocopy and everything that drawing can to contain.
I was born in Rome in 1965 and live in the Marche region.
